A cosy chalet in quiet surroundings . Very helpful and friendly hosts .

We (family of 4) spent 2 nights in this very nice little chalet , due to travel problems our arrival time was changed by 24 hours but this was no problem at all to Klaas who arranged to meet us at the site and was very helpful sending directions when we got slightly lost . We arrived on Easter Sunday and after Klaas had shown us around the chalet and how to use the pellet stove etc we were a little concerned that we might struggle to find any shops to buy groceries and again Klaas and his wife were very helpful and found a list of shops nearby that would be open. On top of that they'd also left a very tasty welcoming apple pie in the fridge . The chalet itself is clean , very nicely decorated and with the little pellet stove it's nice and warm, the beds were comfy , kitchen well equipped with good quality pots , pans and utensils as well as a coffee pod machine for that all important morning caffeine hit. There was free WiFi for 1 device at a time and a good TV and stereo set up with a few DVD's and CD's as well as a few books and board games to pass the time if the weather wasn't too good . The park itself is situated in some nice woodland with plenty of walking and bike trails throughout . The on site cafe/bar was reasonably priced and the kids play areas quite well equipped . I'd definitely recommend this chalet to anyone who enjoys a nice quiet break or is keen on woodland cycling as the well signposted trails around the area seemed very popular .
