Modern comfortable living

Really well appointed modern house. Great living area. Big floor to ceiling windows. Modern blinds. TV and dvd and music player. Great kitchen with modern appliances. It's all open plan downstairs including the dining area. There is also a nice outdoors table in the garden. There is a storage room for bikes etc if needed and this has the washing machine and tumble dryer which work great Upstairs are two nice bedrooms with big windows and lots of wardrobe space. One room has a TV. The area is quiet. Peaceful private neighbourhood and the kids can go to the park alone. Play area is big. Location wise great for Aachen, Maastricht and Valkenburg. Also Leige is nearby but we didn't visit that. Valkenburg is lovely. The caves are worth it for the train and amazing light and sound show. Great eating options three. Aachen has an amazing spa. Nice city too. Maastricht is lovely. Nearby cycling is hilly but if you head South West across German border it's easier. Head for Bocholtz. Simpelveld is small. There is some nice walking up into the hills. Head up Klposterstratt. You can easily walk to the town if you go through the back gate of the bungalow park near where you park the car and walk over the railway line. Two minor issues. 1. The apartment is not as clean as you'd hope. There was dust and dirt visible all around the edges and walking bare foot you could see your soles getting dirty. Take sandals. 2. Mind your head upstairs! We banged them often on the low ceilings! I'd recommend the owners to paint the roof a different colour. Parking really easy. Access to park from motorway easy using sat nav. Good reception area. You have to hire all sheets and duvet covers and pillow covers for extra cost. No towels provided. Full and excellent kitchen equipment and plates etc. The house itself has the biggest garden in the bungalow park. It's hidden away at the back so nice and peaceful. A really lovely house.

Enjoyed staying in this very comfortable house with its lovely views from the rear of the house.We were very pleased with all that was available for us and for all of the extras for the baby. We did find the steep spiral staircase with the narrow treads difficult to come down.
