Wonderful holiday, just what we needed. Easy access for our disabled daughter to all areas of the house and garden, while our youngest daughter disappeared into the wooded garden and only came out for fire building, feeding the fish and eating. Well supplied house, great layout and space inside and out. Friendly locals, felt very welcome in this region. Great for relaxing, enjoying nature, chatting round the fire and then great things to go explore nearby both in the Netherlands and Belgium. Would love to come back one day soon. Thank you for sharing your beautiful holiday home.

Myself and my three long-standing historian friends do an annual boys road trip looking at historical locations and this year we chose to stay in Leimpde in Holland for its central location to the sites we wished to visit in Belgium, Holland and Germany. The farm we stayed at was excellent with a range of dwellings suitable for individuals, couples and families with both split level and ground floor rooms. The accommodation is very varied and rustic and extremely well equipped with every kind of glass, vessel, and tableware you could need and there are herbs in the garden and eggs too. There are TVs, music centres, games and all the electrical appliances, loos and showers you could wish for. The rooms were all warm and cosy and purveyed a charming old-world atmosphere my only real criticism was that some of the stairs were much narrower than we would be used to in the UK. The farm has animals around so cows, chickens and a tame bird add to the atmosphere and in addition local fields have deer, turkeys, pigs and geese about so it really is countrified. Importantly is well located for walking, and for shops, bars and restaurants and for the local motorway network. There are battlesites as close as Boxtel which also has an amazing dinosaur park and paleontology centre; there is a superb WW2 museums at Overloon and a similar easterly drive brings you to Xanten a breathtaking 'German' Pompeii, a Roman city close to the Rhine. All in all a highly recommended place.
