Great little apartment a short tram ride from the centre of The Hague

4 of 5
We have just spent a lovely 4 night break in this apartment in The Hague. We wanted a cost-effective accommodation for a short city break while our children were on a school trip, and this turned out to be the perfect base. Although small (only for 2 people), the apartment had everything you could need, was close to a small shopping centre and only three tram stops from Den Haag Central. It was quiet, with a nice outlook, but only a five minute walk to the tram or bus stop. The owner, Maarten, responded quickly to any questions we had in advance of the trip, met us as arranged on the first day to give us the keys, and was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely, stylish apartment

4 of 5
We had a great week in Martijn's apartment. It's very comfortable and well-equipped. The second bedroom is small, but OK for children and if you're only using it for a few days. It was very hot while we were there so we were grateful for the small balcony. The apartment has a really generous-sized living area and dining room. We rented bikes from http://www.rentabikethehague.nl/index.html and went to Scheveningen and to Delft which is a great way to see these places. We ate at the Thai restaurant mentioned by another reviewer which was very good, but the best place we got food from was the Indonesian Toko Si-Pentje which is a short walk away.
