A Great Stay in GUADELOUPE

4 of 5
Nicely designed and furnished interiors, 2 good sized bedrooms will sleep 4 in comfort, well equipped villa with great view over the bay. The lovely welcome pack of food and drinks was really appreciated as we arrived late after a long day travelling from Les Saintes. Well located just outside Deshaise, you need a car for exploring Basse Terre comfortably. Good value, we would stay again.

Property is just a few minutes by car from the lovely town of Deshaies. Only about five minutes from the wonderful beach of grande sense - we loved it. Twenty minutes drive to St Rose where you can take day trips out into mangroves etc - a serious MUST, but remember to book very early to get trip you want. Just a great week. The sunset on the balcony was amazing. On arrival, Julia had provided enough food & essentials you wouldn't go hungry. So is a lovely cook and brought us up a couple of local dishes - the savoury (home grown) papaya dish was totally delicious.
