Perfect spot to relax and enjoy Crete

5 of 5
Arriving at Villa Sofas is like stepping back in time. Georgia and Dionysis have created a great little retreat here, with a lovely pool and sunbathing area as well as a beautiful shaded courtyard. Both G & D were very welcoming and nothing is too much for their guests. The Villa is very well appointed with everything you will need for a relaxing stay and a great bathroom! You won't want to get out of the gorgeous bed. There is a bus stop within 5 - 7 minutes walk and the buses are every half hour in both directions, 10 minutes to Platinias and about 30 to Chania depending on traffic. There is a mini market opposite the bus stop and a supermarket around 15 minutes walk so a car is not necessary here. The beach is also a short walk away if you can tear yourself away from the Villa. If you want to visit this area Villa Sofas is the perfect place to stay.

Beautiful

5 of 5
My fiancé and I had a great holiday in Villa Amfitriti, high in the hills of western Crete. ‘Bob’ met us on the way from Chania Airport and we followed him to the house. The plot consists of two villas, each with their own good-sized pool. Three of the five balconies face next-door. Therefore, we stayed in the smaller bedroom with a more private balcony and had breakfast on the balcony outside the sitting room area. The first floor open-plan sitting/dining room was light and airy, with lovely marble tiled floors, and a well-equipped kitchen. A toilet is located on each floor, with a shower cubicle downstairs and large shower/corner bath upstairs. We were very happy with the property and wish we could have stayed longer. For us, the pool was the absolute cherry on the cake and the owners couldn’t have been more helpful. We would love to return. Thank you, Bob Megan & Simon
