Triton was clean and tidy. There was a lot of space and balconies to sit, reading and catch the sun as it moved around. The pool kept the children entertained. The TV didn't go on once. We had a lovely relaxing break.

The stone villas are lovely outside and inside, with most of what you need. Quite small, but this isn't a problem as you shouldn't be staying the house all day, but seeing Crete! The children loved having their own bathroom upstairs. The pool is small but fantastic, and surprisingly, having it heated was a lovely treat. Some unfinished aspects to the surroundings, and the builders were still working on the garden when we first arrived. However, the owner/manager was on hand and quickly addressed this when we asked. Very nice people to deal with, and we loved the rough, windy road to the top of the hill where the villa sits between the sea and the mountains. I loved watching the moon over the mountains from the downstairs bedroom. We had two little visiting cats (mother and kitten); so if they are still around, love and feed them.
