Fantastic

This must be the best place to stay in Athens. The rooftop terrace with its view of the Acropolis was a dream. Lovely apartment. Bakery for breakfast provisions and small supermarket both just round the corner. I recommend booking the taxi from the airport, the driver was waiting for us and took us directly to the apartment.

Beautiful & stylish villa impeccably maintained throughout.

5 of 5
A short drive of 25 mins from Athens airport to reach this villa, nestling upon a hillside overlooking the nearby port of Rafina. Upon our arrival we were greeted by our host Katia who gave our family of four, 2 adults + 2 teen-agers a tour of this beautiful villa, explaining all we need to know to settle in. Our host was always helpful with any requests and very accomodating, who kept a discreet presence whilst living above and we were afforded sole use of the magnificent swimming pool throughout our stay. With four toilets and showers with an abundance of towels supplied our teenaged boys opted to stay in the separate room by the pool which included toilet and shower with fridge and air con, afforded the boys a degree of independence. The master bedroom with en-suite was spacious, including very efficient air conditioning and very comfortable king-size bed with qualify linen. The pool is worth a mention in its own right at some 12.5m X 8m and about 3m deep is great for swimming and cooling off. The villas location provided us with a very refreshing breeze when the temp is mid 30's in Aug. The villa is very secure with automatic gates and alarm private alarm security. We visited local attractions at Marathon and Poseidon Temple and a local beach which had very warm sea water and spent days relaxing by the pool during our stay. There are ample super markets nearby and a large Mcaurther Glenn retail outlet nearby for shopping. Happy to recommend this villa for anyone looking to have a relaxing vacation with guaranteed sunshine. We were due to leave by 11am on the Fri but our flight was not till the evening our host was happy to let us stay till tea time before we left for the airport, which was very helpful for us and declined any extra payment which we would have gladly paid.
