A dreamhouse, ideal for family relaxing holidays

5 of 5
We spent 3 days at Alonaki Villa, but, when leaving, apart from feeling sad, we agreed that it felt like we had spent an entire week. We started feeling like home from the first moment, and everything in the villa is so carefully planned that you can't help but feeling like home. We are a couple with 2 kids, our younger one is 20 months old, and we had a baby bed all ready made up waiting for us, a baby chair, even a safety door for the stairs. The fridge was full of goodies (eggs, milk, apples and oranges, butter, salami and Spanish jamon and chorizo), there was yummy toast bread and pasta, all kinds of spices and material to cook with, an espresso machine with 10 capsules of nespresso coffee, and the tap water, was of course, as in any Pelion village, potable and very good for the stomach and the skin. There was even a bottle of tsipouro and home made marmalade as a welcome treat. There is a fireplace in the living room with all that is needed to light a fire, lots of cds for all kind of music tastes, even board games. The location is amazing, facing Pagasitikos bay, and there are little treasures hidden in every room or balcony or little garden of this beautifull little house. The Cocomat mattresses and pillows are of the best quality, and we also enjoyed the luxury of the bathroom Apivita products. Stathis was very helpful and recommended very nice walks and excursions, he even helped us find goat milk from the shepherd of the area! We honestly can't wait to go again with our friends.

A perfect house to enjoy the peace and quiet you deserve

5 of 5
The house is perfect for a couple with 1/2 small kids or dogs which wants to get away from it all. The house is perfectly located if you don't go about a lot with the car but spend a lot of time in it. Otherwise you'll be better off if you sleep closer to the shore. The house is located high above the shore up a 2.5km of dirt road quite rough at places and very winding. It takes from 10-15 mins. I don't recommend it for sport cars. Another issue you might have is that there is no Internet at the house despite what the "Facilities" section specify. The fridge could also be a bit bigger. Apart from this everything was perfect: The host Vangelis is a very friends and helpful. He left for us so many things in the house, starting from ouzo and ending with some of his excellent apples. The house is clean and neat, all the amenities you might need are there. You could spend countless of hours on the veranda sipping wine and enjoying the view. The area around the house is perfect for walks and during our visit (first half of April) was in full blossom! We will come back for sure maybe even next year. Thanks again Vangelis.
