Laconia is a prefecture on mainland Greece which offers quiet and relaxing holidays in a number of historic towns including Sparta, the region's capital. Laconia is backed by the Taygetus, Arcadia and the Parnon Mountains and its southern shores border the Mediterranean and the Gulf of Laconia. It is a popular and pleasant region offering a taste of the "real Greece" with its citrus groves, olive trees and ancient history. The mountains offer hilly walking trails and caves with stalactites while the coast offers small bays and secluded havens with endless stretches of sand and crystal clear waters. There are a host of activities, sights and things to do when renting a Laconia villa or holiday rental.

Beautifully Presented Villa with Lovely Sea Views

5 of 5
We had a wonderful holiday in this lovely villa located in the pretty village of Lefktro, near Stoupa. The property was very clean and comfortable, and beautifully presented. There is a spacious lounge/diner, a shower room and a well equipped kitchen leading out to an attractive courtyard garden – a lovely place to sit with your morning coffee! The upstairs accommodation comprises a generous, airy double bedroom leading onto to a large terrace with superb sea views, two smaller twin bedrooms (one with doors on to the terrace), and a bathroom. We enjoyed the leisurely stroll down to the main beach in Stoupa, which took about 15 minutes. The property is very well situated for the bakery and supermarket, but when you are filling up your trolley bear in mind that the last part of the walk back to the villa is a bit on the steep side! It might be worth considering hiring a car, but if you are reasonably fit it is not essential. Stoupa is a wonderful location for a relaxing summer holiday. There's lots to explore in the local area, with plenty of good restaurants to choose from. I would highly recommend hiring bikes and taking the coastal cycle path to the quaint fishing village Aghios Nikolaos. Kardamyli, in the other direction, is also well worth a visit. Stella was extremely helpful throughout the whole booking process, and on arrival kindly met our airport taxi at the nearby supermarket in Stoupa so that we didn’t get lost on the last part of the journey. We loved this villa so much that we have re-booked for summer 2017!

A marvellous week in an outstanding Villa

5 of 5
We were 8 people, four couples from Denmark, who stayed at Villa Christina for one week. Absolutely everything was 100% functioning. High Quality in all Materials. Homeliness from beginning to end. Tastefully arranged in- and outside. Very, very well equipped. Christina and her husband welcomed us and told us and showed us everything, we needed to know. The Villa was topready to host us. Food in the kitchen and many visits by the housekeepers, who cleaned the house during our stay. This was really extraordinary! It is not possible to mention anything, that was not OK. We can really recommend this Villa and the great views of the Sea. Thank You for a wonderfull week. Hope to be back again. Greetings Tage
