            Very good

We stayed here 10 days with five children (6-15yrs) and four adults. Loved our stay very much. Everything was as we were told, so I'd say we got exactly what was promised and we expected. Stone Rose Villa is a big country house located up in a hill in rural area. Location was great for us as it took 15 mins to drive to the old town and to the port and 10 mins to the closed beach (Gouvia - not exacly a nicest beach in the island - we prefered pool) and supermarket (Diellas - better than others). The whole island ( and other beaches) were easy to explore from this central location by cars. Important advice: CLOSE THE GATE ALWAYS! Villa is in the countryside and there is a (not-so-wise) sheep farmer in the neighborhood. One day we found a bunch of sheeps in the backyard. Two of them in the pool. We lifted the sheeps from to pool, kids worked as shepherds. Rose sent a guy to clean the pool same evening. Fortunately the pool was back in shape in two days. However, in few hours the sheeps had managed to eat all the roses in the garden and made a mess in the lawn that Rose had taken care of so nicely. Now, the whole thing makes us laugh. It was really hilarious, and (our city) kids will remember it the rest of their lives, but please, don't try it again. Keep the gate closed! Along with the sheeps came more flies. All the doors have nets, but it didn't keep all of them away. It's good to notice (especially w kids) there are also bees, ants, mosquitos and frogs, and beautiful swallows around. WiFi worked most of the time fine. Electricity was cut off for short period of time (1-2 hours) couple of times. Kitchen was very well equipt though the dishwasher didn't function too well. Overall this is a perfect place for families. The garden is big and beautiful and the pool is big enough for swimming and playing. The aircondition keeps the bedrooms (except one of them) cool for the night.
