- Minimilistic modern house
Well equipped house. Great location for hiking and biking with lots to do in the area. We went kayaking from Pilos Marina and then on the idyllic beach at Voidokilia with fantastic views from the walk up to Nestor's cave and the castle. The little church one village above the house in Agnantio is worth the walk with more fabulous views. The beach at Chrani is OK but it is well worth the drive further afield.

Beautiful house surrounded by olive groves - and orange, lemon, pomegranate and fig trees too. Lovely sense of peace and stillness, but only 10 mins away from bustling Koroni (or a 30min walk with some very steep hills!) We had a lovely week here with our 10 month old. Rosie the host was so very helpful and accommodating: She provided both highchair and cot, spoke with a doctor on our behalf when the baby was unwell, and even sent a friend to go to the chemist for us. The house itself is comfortable with a number of outdoor spaces and lots of thoughtful touches - mosquito nets, beach umbrellas, a well stocked kitchen, a hammock in amongst the olive trees. Agia Triada beach - a 2 minute walk through the olive grove - is breathtaking, and in October was completely empty even on warm sunny days. I think it would be impossible not to emerge from a week here feeling at peace with the world....
