We had a fantastic holiday!! We are a family of four: two adults and two little girls, 4 and 6 years old. Nikos, the owner, arranged to pick us from Patra coach station and drove us to the apartment. We stayed in the first floor apartment and it was huge! You could tell that it was made for family to stay, beautiful furniture and plenty of appliances. The house itself is at one end of the village; there is no traffic and the sea is a stone's throw away...and that is for a 6 year old!! There is a lovely picturesque coastline to walk along and nice pebbly areas where people swim; we really enjoyed going to the main one, the water was crystal clear and we discovered how nice pebble beaches are; the girls were happy wearing their beach shoes and spending time looking for little sea shells and playing in the sea, while we were sipping our cool drinks on the sun loungers provided by the few cafe/bars. We did also make sand castles at a different beach with a few sandy parts without having to walk more than 10 minutes. The whole experience was great and authentically Greek, 90% of the people on the beach are Greeks who are local or spend their holidays there and they are polite, respectful and make you feel welcome. There are more than enough tavernas and bars to suit the young and the more distinguished of ages... but would definitely disappoint the Agia Nappa crowd, thankfully for us!! Nikos and Alexandra are such a lovely couple, friendly and chatty, we felt like they were family. They are extremely accommodating and we enjoyed spending time with them. I would recommend this place unreservedly and I will definitely be back again. Thank you again for making our summer holiday a very special one. See you soon.
