  • Lovely holiday flat in a beautiful town on the Rhine with good transport links
    5 of 5

We stayed here with our 2 children for 5 nights. We were doing a holiday in Germany using public transport, and this holiday-flat is a 5 minute walk from the station. Trains run hourly to Koblenz or Mainz. We found lots to do in the area: a great outdoor pool in Koblenz; cable car in Koblenz; chairlift and great views of the Rhine in Boppard; bike hire in Koblenz and an amazing traffic-free cycle route along the Rhine; a tour around an impressive nearby castle. Rhens is also worth a look around with its beautiful old buildings and well-preserved town wall. You could even go on a hike from here, but we didn't as it was too hot. Nearby are supermarkets and bakeries. We self-catered but there are restaurants in Rhens too. The flat has everything you need and the owners are very friendly and helpful. The town is quiet and peaceful, except for the charming but perhaps over-enthusiastic morning church bell-ringing! Thank you for a lovely stay in a beautiful part of Germany.

  • Very Enjoyable Stay in a lovely, very clean appartment
    5 of 5

Probably one of the best apartments we have stayed in. Very clean, relaxing and everything that you could think of. The area is lovely, lots to see and do across the Rhine Valley. Very easy to get around in the car as well as walking and this area is a special attraction for cyclists, with dedicated cycle paths up and down the valley. Well worth the long drive from the UK. Gabriele was a wonderful host, nothing was to much trouble. Help was at hand if we were struggling with the language and wanted advise. A really good stay in the Rhine valley and our thanks to Gabriele.
