Clean, Comfortable and Quiet with Easy access to City

5 of 5
We stayed in Wilhelmshagen for 4 days. Having visited Berlin a few months ago and realized how efficient the transport system is, we decided to stay a bit out of town. Less than an hour by public transport from Schoenefeld Airport and 25 mins from Berlin Centre, set in a small village area in the Berlin forest, this idyllic apartment is modern, clean and comfortable. Being an apartment you can come and go to please yourself, and there's no rush in the mornings. There are 2 bedrooms which have ample storage and very comfortable beds. The bathroom is well finished and has a few baskets of toiletries which is very handy. Kitchen is modern and had everything you need for a short stay. Finally the sitting room is large, bright and has a huge TV! This was a nice area to come back to after a day in the city, to relax and chat before sleeping. Something a hotel doesnt have! The apartment is a short walk from Wilhelmshagen S-bahn station. Being a more rural area, we explored the local towns also, including Kopenick for shopping and Erkner for lakeside walks. Nadine recommended various eateries, which was most welcome, especially as one of us is gluten intolerant. Berlin caters well for food intolerance with most menus being allergen coded. A great place to stay!

Great property in fantastic location.

4 of 5
The property was perfect for a large group and allows you to spend time together as a group or to do your own thing if you're looking for a bit of peace and quiet. The pool, hot tub and sauna were well enjoyed and the house was generally well equipped and very nice. Just a couple of things to be mindful of - there is no wi-fi (which was quite nice and is in the advert), you'll need a cable to attach your phone to the speakers, for the money the late check in at 16:30 and early check out at 09:30 are a little unusual as you actually get way less than 48 hours for the price. There was some flexibility for a 10am check out but it was then extra money to check out later than that. Transport links, supermarkets, quiet location and you are left to your own devices which made the stay very enjoyable.
