The description of the apartment is accurate and it was well equipped. It was well maintained (very new) and spotlessly clean. Loads if information provided on the local area. It is very well positioned, being far enough away from the town to be extremely quiet, but near enough to drive, cycle or walk to. We didn't have a car with us so cycled or walked everywhere. We went to Xanten, Kleve, Weeze, Uedem, Rees (on the Rhine) & Kaevelar on our bikes - all are well worth a visit and all have shops, cafes & restaurants. Take a swimming costume with you even in winter as GochNess is good for swimming, saunas, treatments etc. and very reasonably priced. It also has a cafe with a limited menu but very good. As we went in the winter, most "attractions" were closed, but there would be plenty to see and do in the summer. There is a good choice of supermarkets locally and Goch has a good variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. Matthias & Ellen were very friendly and welcoming and were great hosts. They were never intrusive but always around if you wanted anything. I would highly recommend these apartments and the area, which is very well placed for Weeze (Dusseldorf) airport. There is a good train and bus network, but we had too much else to do and didn't get to go on them - other than to and from the airport.
