Great place to stay!

4 of 5
If you like peace and quiet then this is the place for you. Down a long windy road to a cluster of farmhouses and with a lovely balcony on which we enjoyed the evening air. Surrounded by trees in a lovely valley with children playing outside it was great. my colleagues and i were on business attending the Gartenfest show in Eichenzell and this was the prefect place to unwind after the show with nothing to disturb our sleep. The appartment was clean and inviting and nice and cool most of the time after we had been standing in the sun all day! Recommend it to anyone who wants peace and quiet and some time to themselves.

A winter wonderland

5 of 5
Stayed at Roeder Mill over Christmas 2010. It really is a super house, with plenty of room to spread out and beautiful views from the windows. We enjoyed lighting the open fire and watching the world go by outside. House more than lived up to expectation and Christa is a super hostess. Everything well maintained and beautifully clean and beds very comfortable. Even though it was minus 10 some nights, we were warm as toast in the house! The exceptionally snowy weather prevented us from exploring too far, but we loved what we saw. The option to take the railway through the valley was a great bonus when it was snowing too hard to drive! We even caught a train on 25th December to a super restaurant for lunch! Lots of walking trails and bike paths in the area - we plan to return to the house in better weather with bicycles to explore the area in more depth.
