  • Very comfortable apartment close to city centre.

We were attending a wedding in Stuttgart and decided to make it a family holiday. The apartment was an excellent base and also a pleasant place to relax in after a day's sight-seeing. It was spacious and tranquil. We soon got used to going up and down the flights of steps which linked us to the city centre and the U-bahn. We took advantage of the lovely ice creams in Eugenplatz at the end of the street on several occasions and watched the sunset over the city from there.

  • Great apartment, area and hosts!

The flat was clean, modern and (being in the basement) cool in the hot June weather. Space just right for 2 adults and our 3-year-old son. Very well-equipped with lots of thoughtful touches - loads of tourist leaflets/local information, some toys and kids' books, cute kids' bedding on the single bed. We really appreciated the washing machine and lots of hanging space in the utility room (kept warm by the boiler), as well as private use of the back garden with trampoline! and table and chairs. Leinfelden is a quiet, leafy suburb and well connected to central Stuttgart and the Autobahn. The train station (for S-bahn and U-bahn) is 5 mins walk from the flat and the shopping precinct with small supermarket 2 mins further on. Most impressed by the kids' play areas which are all over Leinfelden - there's a particularly good one in the woods by the secondary schools (Spielplatz Etzweide). Claudia and Todd gave us a warm welcome and lots of recommendations, and made sure we had everything we needed. We found this a very child-friendly apartment, although lots of tiled floors and concrete steps to the entrance might make it less suitable for younger, more wobbly toddlers. We would gladly stay again. Vielen Dank Claudia und Todd!
