  • A pleasant accomodation spot

We had a long term stay here with our two teenage children, so basically 4 adults (15 nights). It was lovley and clean and Katja is very helpful and responsive. We stayed in Oberhausen to be close to relatives over the Christmas period. A bonus is the shutters on all the windows to block out the light and noise as the lower floor is on a busy street. We had the windows closed as it was winter but it would be noisy in summer with the windows open. We had everything we needed in regards to linens and clean towlels but it was virtually impossible to live for 15 days without a washer or dryer and wifi is not included either. We luckily had relatives close by who offered to wash our clothes. There is a netto food market within walking distance and an aldi but that had absolutely nothing in it. For milk and fresh rolls there is a tiny little shop on the nearest corner. The bus comes right past regularly to the centro shopping mall. Kitchen was well equipped with utensils and cooking equipment but the microwave did not work. Plenty of storage space for clothes etc. You do have to walk through one bedroom to get to another but only an issue if you have grumpy teenagers! There wasnt too many places to eat nearby to reach on foot only take away places. Overall a pleasant place to stay.
