We thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay at the cottage and we would definitely go there again . The cottage was warm, cosy, peaceful and in a great location for exploring the black forest. Peter was a great host and very attentive.

The apartment, although slightly old-fashioned, is well equipped and cosy, with a large comfortable bed, reasonable bathroom and cute little kitchen perfect for a warm dinner after a day's hike. The hosts as-well were absolutely lovely, very animated and helpful (the breakfast service from the local bakery was a nice touch as-well). Bad Rippoldsau is a little difficult to get to without a car, but its location right next to some gorgeous hiking spots (the Burgbachwasserfall and Kastelstein were some highlights) and the stunning scenery of the Schwarzwald was perfect. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a nice, relaxing getaway amongst some of the most beautiful scenery Germany has to offer.
