We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. It is literally a five minute walk from the train station and we had a wonderful car-free week. Teenage son and husband took the bus out to Lac de la Cavayère to do the aerial rope course and zip line (they said it was fantastic), we took the train for a day trip to Toulouse (lots to see), had a walk along the Canal du Midi and spent the rest of the time wandering round Carcassonne. The apartment is huge and there are lots of very thoughtful touches left for you which were much appreciated. Thanks to Phil too who gave great restaurant recommendations and advised us to climb the 232 steps in the Eglise St Vincent to get the best views over Carcasonne. Go, stay in the apartment - you’ll have a great time!

The apartment had everything you need for a very comfortable stay. A fully functioning kitchen complete with induction hob, full size cooker and dishwasher. The bathroom had a lovely rainfall shower with lots of hot water. I would ditch the shower curtain or at least replace it with a nicer one. The bedroom had a very comfortable king size bed with plenty of drawers and handing space so no need to live out of your suitcase. There was a great courtyard with a table and chairs, great for eating outside if the weather is good. It was a bit chilly some days but it is October. The best feature is the location, just outside the Old Cite walls but easy walking to Bastide Saint Louis. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it. Oh one last comment, Inga recommended Comte Roger restaurant in the Old Cite and it was fantastic. A must if you have the opportunity but book ahead as it is popular.
