The owners, and immediate neighbours, Phil and Maria, provide a gite that is more like a home than a rental accommodation. They have put thought and care into the creation of this lovely place and are thoughtful hosts who are prepared to offer their time and useful advice to ensure an enjoyable holiday.

Beautiful restored barn in a perfect location

5 of 5
A lovingly restored barn located perfectly for a truly relaxing holiday. We loved spending time at the property, dining on the terrace, playing one of the many ball games (table tennis, badminton and football), darts and enjoying the many walks from the barn. We visited the nearby towns and in particular we liked Rochechouart with its Chateau, Meteorite Museum and many Patisseries and visiting the world famous cave paintings at Lascaux, a 90 minute drive away but well worth the journey. The lake at Vidiex became a favourite of ours which has a lovely café, beach and safe swimming for our three young daughters and only a 15 minute drive away. A wonderful holiday and we would definitely make a return visit.
