Beautiful cottage in lovely historic town

4 of 5
This cottage was perfect for our family stay in Uzes. We are a family of four and it was more than big enough for us - great use of space, very quiet and cosy. Our 3-year-old and 12-week-old children slept for the longest they have ever slept in their lives which says a lot about how peaceful it is. The host was brilliant - very friendly, helpful and always on hand to help out if required. Will definitely recommend to all of our friends thinking of travelling to the area.

At home in Provence!

5 of 5
Susan and Adrian Doull have a gem property in the heart of beautiful Uzès. The house is tucked away on a side street just steps from the picturesque Place des Lices square in the main center of town. Their charming 3 story historic building has all the qualities we were looking for in a 'town' property: great location, quiet and comfort! The guest apartment is located on the top floor and reached by a spectacular winding stone staircase. The living room with high ceilings and a mezzanine extra sleeping loft (great for kids!) overlooks their garden and a small pool. Unfortunately, it wasn't pool season yet but the pool would be a welcome relief for cooling off from the summer heat. The bedroom is well appointed and has a very comfortable queen-size bed. The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped. It was our second visit and we hope to return again soon.
