Beautiful holiday house

5 of 5
Our stay at Marc's and Pascale's property was perfect. The hosts welcomed us like friends - with champagne! The apartment is very pretty and functional for a family of four, with beautiful Provence linens smelling of lavender, big comfortable table and chairs to have breakfast on the patio and of course the swimming pool - it was difficult to get our ten year old out of the water! It was a good spot for day trips both to the beach (Cassis, Côte bleue) and to Aix and Arles. There is a supermarket near by, a boulangerie in town where you can walk to get fresh bread and a couple of nice restaurants to eat in the evenings.

Lovely house in a quiet location

4 of 5
This is a lovely home, very modern and spacious. It has all the mod cons except air conditioning. In such a hot area of France and a modern build I don't understand why the owners didn't install it. The house is reasonably private and has large grounds. The view at the front of the house is stunning and the table at the front is great to eat and relax at. The layout of the house is on a single storey. From the front door you walk into a large spacious kitchen area and to the left the house flows and is designed really well. To the right it's not so smooth. There is a single toilet with no hand basin and the bathroom doesn't have a toilet. The bedrooms are all double rooms and spacious. The master bedroom and en-suite are great, as is the games/ entertainment room. The outside areas are great including a lovely pool and BBQ area. The wifi was very good through most of the house and into the garden. One slight issue was that the house had a cleaner who comes on a friday for 4 hours, this is a bit of an interuption to our day and she doesn't seem to clean above her head as there were lots of cobwebs above head height. This aside this is a great place but the lack of air con cost it the fifth star. I would recommend it though.
