We stayed here last year and had a wonderful time. The house and garden are both lovely and very comfortable for a family of four. We had two additional guests during our stay and everyone fitted in perfectly. Also, a great place to holiday with a dog and children. Plenty of garden and the children loved swimming in the river.

We have been fortunate to have had two visits to this lovely home located outside a village called Tremolat in the Bordeaux region of France. The house is situated up in the hills overlooking the Dordogne river which winds through the valley below. One's view from the house are fields of wheat and sunfowers with natural forests behind - a view that is peaceful and beautiful. The house is a renovated house and barn, comfortably furnished with all the mod cons. It is secluded in part of the forest and garden and a lovely azure swimming pool located right there. This home would be highly recommended by us for people who want privacy, peace and natural beauty on their holiday with culture, old towns, colourful markets just a short drive away. Food for the soul on every level.

Beautiful Views in an Idyllic location.

On our arrival we were greeted by Margaret and Richard who were very helpful with showing the house and amenities to us and then were more than happy to spend some time recommending different things to do and places to visit. The location of the house is just beautiful, over looking the river with views towards the road and railway bridges, and out of the village (not very far, with restaurant, café and boulangerie) on a quiet road in an Idyllic spot. The house and gardens are very well kept, giving lots of options for sitting outside either in the sun or shade or in the large living room and dinning area with TV's in both. This is a perfect rental to get away from the world and forget your troubles, but not to far from villages and larger towns for the hussle and bussle of markets, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. We would definitely recommend this rental and will be looking to return, hopefully in the not to distant future.
