Grasse, the perfume capital of the world, is only nine miles away, and of course there's always Cannes for particularly expensive luxuries.

Spacious bungalow near pittoresk, lively village

4 of 5
Quiet environment and open views all around. The house is very spacious with a large living room with three terrace doors, a separate kitchen, three bedrooms (one single room) and two annex bathrooms; two separate toilets. The master bedroom has a large bathroom with bath and shower and an walk-in wardrobe. Sunny terrace with nice scenery, large swimming pool. There is an annex with a 4th bedroom, shower and separate toilet. The house needs some maintenance, however, immediate issues were solved quickly. It could do with some clearing of personal and unnecessary stuff in all rooms; the annex smells a bit musty. That said, we had a great time and have enjoyed Tourettes sur Loup, a very nice and lively village with great shops and restaurants.

Absolutely magical!

5 of 5
Wow!! This is the most magical setting for a holiday we've ever experienced, in 13 years travelling as a group of 8 adults and 9 children (this year they're 10-16 years old). You feel like you're living in a forest, with views of mountains and hilltop villages all around. But it's not at all remote and you can easily explore stunning villages like Gourdon, Saint Paul de Vence, Le Bar sur loup, as well as Valbonne and the wonderful coast. The really beautiful stream where you can paddle or jump in off the bank is literally outside the gate and together with a fabulous football pitch, table tennis table, trampoline and boules pitch, it adds an extra dimension to the activities available. Liesel has thought of everything you could need and the outside sitting and eating areas are so comfortable. We've never returned to a property in all our 13 years travelling together, but we're booking to go back to Riveloup next year!
