  • Great property in a beautiful, secluded setting.

My family of five (three children 8, 6 & 4) spent a lovely week at this Gite. The way the kitchen and living room area open directly onto the decking is great for making the most of the outside space and the pool. Although next door to the owners property the Gite is completely secluded and separated from the main house. The owner is a wealth of knowledge on the local area and very happy to assist as required. I would happily recommend this property for a wonderful rural French holiday.

We stayed for a week at the beginning of September. The accommodation is a delight especially when you see the before photographs. It is clean and very welcoming, it's quaint and they have kept a lot of the original features (beams etc). We took our dog Maisy and she loved the garden, it was huge. There is also a delightful grape vine and ivy covered pagola to relax under. Also a nice little sun trap for later on in the day round the back with a table and couple of chairs and sun loungers. There is a dip/hot tub to use to cool off on those hot days. It is ideally located, the local amenities are a 15 minute walk or 5 minutes drive. Also there is plenty to see and do around the area. Rob and Elaine are 2 of the nicest people you will meet and nothing is too much trouble for them. We will be heading back so that should be testament to say how peaceful and relaxing the Les Farges was. Simon,Cathy and Maisy..
