Well appointed house in a peaceful area close to St Valery

5 of 5
Lucrece's house is a tastefully decorated situated in the hamlet of Pinchefalise close to the town of Picardy. The house is well equipped with all you need for a stay of any duration and has a large secure garden area which is a safe for children to play in. There is a supermarket within a 2 minute drive and a walk of 30 mins along the canal will take you into St Valery which has many restaurants, bars and shops. Denis and Eve gave us a great welcome despite me only having a rudimentary schoolboy French vocabulary but, as we were both proficient in Franglais we were able to understand each other. They even met us at a local supermarket so that they could escort us to the property. We are happy to recommend this property for a stay on the Picardy coast and would happily stay there again on future visits to the area.

Lovely stay in a lovely village.

A perfect location to explore the surrounding area. St Valery is a very pleasant village with much character and lots of interest. The steam train to Le Crotroy was a highlight as was the local market. The house is very clean and has all the amenities one might need though wifi would have been useful. It is very close to the village centre and there is a supermarket just up the road. The steep stairs might benefit from a non-slip covering however and care must be taken when using them. All in all we had a perfectly pleasant visit and would recommend to anyone.
