A delightful and very private house

4 of 5
Our stay was complicated by the fact that owner got married on the day of our arrival! We were met by a friend who showed us the house but I think he did not know it well enough. The sitting area in the house is very comfortable and well furnished and the area by the pool and outside cooking/eating area is really good. Lovely pool if a little on the cool side in September! The house is a bit quirky but has great character. An info pack about the house and the area would be a useful addition.

Unique rural home set amongst the pine trees

4 of 5
We spent a wonderful two weeks in this unique property. It is situated at the end of a track in a very quiet area amongst the pine trees. There are 2 chickens on the property which kept us entertained and provided us with eggs daily - it was our responsibility to feed and water them during our stay. The pool is smallish and not deep but perfect for a small family. There were 4 sun loungers and plenty of inflatables and garden toys The property was well furnished however I would like to suggest that due to the layout of the house and the size of the bedrooms it would be a struggle to house 8 people as has been suggested. However it was perfect for our family of 4 which included 2 teenagers. The gym/spa at the end of the garden was a bonus. There is a lot to do in the area but we would definitely recommend a visit to Barjols, Correns (for river swimming), Caramy and Hyeres beach which is truly beautiful. There is also a huge market every Wednesday in St Baume.
