Excellent escape

Everything you could want and need to get away from it all and chill. Fully equipped, clean and well maintained. Shops 10 min drive away in Josselin. Would recommend Les Forges to those looking to unwind and would visit again.

Beautiful gite, lovely countryside, thoughtful and considerate host.

An old community bread oven has been renovated to a very high standard and now has a new lease of life as a small and beautiful gite. The building sits adjacent to a popular walking and cycling route along the Nantes - Brest canal, with farmland surrounding. Local Medieval towns and villages are abundant and there’s lots of wildlife to see too. A great spot for a holiday and something to suit everyone. Our host, Sandra, was staying in her own house while we were there and had left champagne for us and lots of small essentials and treats - she also gave us some very useful advice on places of interest to visit and where to eat well. We enjoyed our visit very much and would highly recommend the gite.
