Good overall

4 of 5
Parking was very easy and off road. The bed was comfortable and a generous size. These are the two most important considerations when I'm on holiday. The shower was small but had good pressure. There wasn't much room to store food though the kitchen was large and the table could seat four people adequately. There was ample room in the lounge though one of the 'sofas' was a day bed. Not a problem for us as there were only two of us and I prefer to 'lounge' I would recommend this cottage with the caution that I was badly bitten in the garden by mosquitoes/bugs during my stay. Mireille and her husband were very friendly and welcoming.

Stunningly beautiful ancient spacious house.

10 of us ages raging from 24 to 85 had a perfect holiday. The thick stone walls keep the house cool but you can sun yourself round the pool. We ate dinner in the shady court yard and although some of us just slumped and gazed at the horses in the paddock and the mountains behond, others explored the Cirque de Navacelles and the Gorges de la Vis. Don’t miss the Market at Ganges. The house has everything you might need plus a huge library with everything from Dickens to John le Carre.
