This is a top floor apartment in a lovely building. Great location for the beach and cycle paths to the forest and other towns and beaches. Residential road so very quiet especially at night. 7 minute walk to town for shops and restaurants. You share the front garden with the other upstairs flat. Parking on the road at the front of house. The flat has everything you need but is basically furnished. It has a dining table for 6 but only has one small sofa that sits 2 people and no other soft chairs. Mimizan is a beach resort so accommodation is at a premium. Overall it was OK for what we paid.

Fantastic place to stay and great location

We had a wonderful few days spent here as a family, ranging in ages from 18 months to mid 70's and our Labrador dog. The house has just been refurbished and has underfloor heating, it was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We made use of the gas BBQ and sun loungers to the rear of the house that are completely surrounded by a wood, which was lovely to sit and listen to the birds on a warm evening. The house is located down a very peaceful, gated private lane, situated in a wood on the side of Étang d'Aureilhan lake. The beach is only a ten minute drive away, and there are also purpose built bike routes through the Pine forests to the beach, away from the main roads. There is another beach we found Plage de Lespecier, which is about 10 minutes south of Mimizan that's unspoilt, beautiful. They are some very good restaurants- in particular Restaurant Ô Courant which served excellent food. And a great little pizza takeaway called Il Gatto Verde pizzas, in the middle of Mimizan town. Jose was very helpful and accommodating during our stay and we would definitely recommend a stay at this family home. Thank you Jose, for a wonderful holiday!
