  • Excellent property with lots of space close to beaches and facilities

We had a wonderful week in Saint Gildas. Lots of fab beaches and little villages to visit. We also went to the chateau at Suscinio and to Rochefort en Terre. We and the kids (aged 7, 5 and 3) loved the castle. There lots of excellent cycle paths nearby that enabled us to cycle as a family around the peninsula. The house was great. Lots of space and very well equipped. Also very close the the facilities of Saint Gildas.

  • Better than Cornwall

We had a week in this lovely house, 70 yards from a beautiful beach. Driving down was easy, even in August; and what we saw of Brittany resembled Cornwall in the 1950s ie without the crowds. Everything about the holiday and the accommodation was great. Only two words of warning, because the French do things differently. So (1) you went get bedding and towels unless you ask and pay for them; and (2) you have to either clean the place before you leave, or else pay for a clean ie the 'menage', and it was about 100 Euros. As my son in law said, that's quite an expensive clean. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend this place, especially for little children who like digging and wave-jumping; but there is also lots of historical interest too; and precious few British cars and people as well - if that is at all important to you
