Peaceful location with charming hosts

5 of 5
A truly tranquil location which is part of an attractive hamlet of just a few properties. The compact house has the living and kitchen space on the ground floor and the bedroom and bathroom up some steepish stairs. We have stayed in many holiday properties over the last 15 years and none have shown the attention to detail that the British hosts, Anita and Steve, have shown here. They live in the adjoining house and take great care of the grounds in front of the house and the land across the quiet road which you can sit out and look over. The bedroom is extremely comfortable and the bathroom has products that you would be lucky to find in a 5 star hotel. The kitchen has a well stocked selection of store cupboard ingredients and a welcome pack of some delicious homemade products. The hospitality can be summed up by Steve providing a patio umbrella when a warm evening turned a bit drizzly, but we still wanted to be outside and another evening when we were outside after sunset and Anita brought us out some mosquito repellant candles. Mini maison offers a unique experience with hosts that genuinely care. I would defy anybody to be disappointed with this experience.
