A very well appointed hideaway

We chose this property as it appeared a well designed house, in the middle of nowhere. We were not disappointed and it was easy to relax quickly into the environment and recharge our batteries. The views across the valley from the terrace were lovely and a perfect space to linger over a leisurely dinner, long into the evening. Although there are no amenities on the doorstep, it's only a short drive to the various local villages, most of which have boulangeries and small restaurants. Cunlhat is about 10-16 mins drive away and has two nice casual restaurants, and also a small lake where the locals relax and swim in high summer. If we had any gripe, it would be over the pillows as they had very little support. However, this is a relatively minor point.

A great property with a homely feel

We stayed for three nights and received a very warm welcome. The property is situated in a very quiet, rural setting with lovely views over farmland. It has a nice terrace area for outside dining and all rooms are of a good size. The house was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Within the house, the owner provides a good amount of information about the local area and places of interest to visit. We highly recommend a stay at this property.
