  • Very interesting house with fully enclosed large garden.

House was just as described. Interestingly features in all rooms. Lots to entertain all ages. Fully enclosed garden for our dogs. Pool was great, clean and warm with child proof gate. Good communication from the owner and we were met by a friendly and helpful house keeper who lived locally. He also came and cleaned the pool half way through our stay. Would recommend this house. The only downside is the lack of bakery or conveniences in the village. This was not a massive issue as there are plenty of supermarkets and shops in the area.

  • Fantastic place to stay!

Me and my family stayed in this property for a week in August. Everything was fantastic. We were met, at the agreed time, by M et Mme Boeringer - and were shown around the house and gardens. The house has 5 good sized bedrooms, with 4 full bathrooms. There was plenty of room for us all. We were a party of 4 adults and 2 teenage boys. My parents had one of the downstairs rooms, with patio doors which opened onto an outdoor area at the rear of the house, so they could have quiet space away from the rest of the family. Everything was clean and in good working order. It didn't feel like a holiday home, it was very comfortable and beautifully furnished. It felt like a home from home (but better!) Outside was fantastic. There is a small lake at the end of the lawn - with a rowing boat. Everyone(except me) had a row around. The ducks were very friendly - and chose our eldest son as their favourite feeder. The swimming pool was used daily, it was around the side of the house, so again another separate area. Despite the tranquil location, the small town of Vitry-aux-loges could be reached on foot in just about 10 minutes. Perfect. All the arrangements went smoothly, via email. I definitely recommend this house for a relaxing stay in a beautiful area of France.
