Make a Holiday Rentals Chalet in Serre-Chevalier, France, Your Home Away From Home

The high altitude ski-resort of Serre-Chevalier sits at between 1200m and 2800m in the Hautes-Alpes department and is one of France's biggest, and best, ski resort complexes. The whole resort is spread over several villages, including the town of Briancon, and the villages of Chantemerle, Le Monêtier-les-Bains and Villeneuve. It has some 250km of ski slopes, but there is little pre-built resort accommodation. Most accommodation for visitors to the area is to be found in privately rented self-catering chalets and apartments. In Briancon town, some well-furnished townhouses can offer great bases for your adventures in Serre-Chevalier, if you have transport.

The town of Briancon itself is absolutely fascinating, being a walled medieval citadel, with steep narrow streets, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Superb apartment

5 of 5
As a family of five we had a lovely stay in Briancon. The apartment exceeded our expectations. The spaciousness and comfort of the apartment was worth not being slopeside for, saying that it is only a very short walk to the cable car in Briancon or a 10 minute drive to Chantemerle cable car anyway. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything you needed for self catering. The bedrooms and sofa bed were all very comfortable with linen and towels provided. The open plan living area was great for evenings after a day out skiing. Shops, bakers, butchers, bars and restaurants are all within a few minutes walk. You can walk up into the old town of Briancon in 15 minutes for stunning views and even greater choice of restaurants. I would highly recommend this apartment and Olivier was extremely friendly and helpful.

Wonderful holiday spot

5 of 5
I recently stayed here for a skiing trip with my husband, in laws and young sons. Although we thought before hand it would be a squeeze there was plenty of room for us all and the facilities were brilliant. We had everything we needed and had a fabulous time. Will definitely be booking again next year. Wonderful memories made. Thank you!!!
