Sernhac is conveniently located to many excellent visitor attractions. For example the Roman Pont du Gard is just four kilometres away. Uzes is just 15 kilometres away and features the iconic Window Tower as well as the parish church. Other attractions near Uzes include the water park at Bouscarasse, the Museum of 1900 and Toys at Arpaillargues and the Haribo Museum. Nimes is only 17 kilometres away and is the home of the wonderful 2,000 year old Roman amphitheatre as well a Roman temple. Just across from the temple is the modern Carre d’Art which is made of glass.

Weather in Sernhac, France

The weather between May and September is generally very warm with the average in July and August around 26 degrees centigrade, although temperatures can reach as high as 35 degrees. July is also very dry but the rest of the summer can see a few showers. Winters are cool and wet with December, January and February the coldest months with an average low of 5 degrees centigrade.

Travel to Sernhac, France

Nimes Airport (FNI) is approximately 30 minutes drive from Sernhac and has flights to and from Brussels South Charleroi (CRL) and Luton (LTN). Avignon-Caumont Airport (AVN) is about 50 minutes drive from Sernhac and flights arrive here from Leeds/Bradford (LBA), London-City (LCY), Manchester (MAN) and Southampton (SOU). An alternative for visitors from other parts of Europe is to fly to Montpellier - Méditerranée Airport (MPL), which is approximately one hour from Sernhac and has flights to and from various cities across Europe including Brussels (BRU), Frankfurt (FRA), London-Gatwick (LGW) and Madrid (MAD). Modern, well equipped spacious property with panoramic views, in a beautiful traditional village.

We loved the property and the situation. The village is delightful and as a bonus,despsite not being listed in google, had its own bakery. Fresh croissants every day ! We also found a very nice restaurant, a few hundred yards walking distance in a local hotel, which was a perfect setting for outdoor dining with very friendly owners. The property was clean, well fitted out & decorated etc. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could need if, like us, you still want to cook on holiday.
