A lovely, clean and quiet holiday cottage with great views

Cottage is quiet, clean, well equipped and suitable for travelling with a young baby. The owner provides travel cot, baby bath and high chair. The patio outside has a bbq and is all one level so safe for a toddler. Nearby town of saint Girons has a great market on Saturday mornings. Highly recommend for food shopping. Nearby Castillon has small grocery store and also a bakery, butcher etc. There is an open air swimming pool also. The local restaurant auberge de la core was great but you will need to book a table even at lunch times. The nearby bethmale lake is great for a walk and a picnic. All in all a great holiday if you want to be somewhere quiet with not too many other tourists.

Great location to visit St. Lizier, St. Girons and escape into the Pyrenees.

The accommodation is very clean and tidy, with everything you would need for a week's holiday. A great bakery around the corner, a supermarket within reach and St. Girons has some great eateries. The owners are super helpful and friendly. The flat is right next to the river so if you close your eyes you can imagine you are listening to the surf crashing on the beach. Plenty of wildlife in the surrounding hills - one day we had 12 vultures glide over our heads while we were sunbathing.
