  • Perfect hideaway for a couple, quiet, clean, comfortable. Good location for all D-Day activities.

A great gite, all on one level, with everything you could need provided. A large, airy, lounge/kitchen/diner with cooker, microwave, fridge and coffee machine. A large bedroom with modern en-suite shower room. Air conditioned too. It's all nicely decorated and very clean and comfortable. There is also a TV with English Freeview satellite and a dvd player. There are plenty of places to sit outside in the extensive grounds to chase sun or shade and the only noise is from the cows in the adjoining fields and the tolling of the nearby abbey bell. It's a perfect gite for a couple and gave us a very peaceful and relaxing break. Noreen the owner is there should you need her but otherwise let's you get on with your holiday. Bayeux and St Lo are about 20mins away, the nearest supermarket is c10mins away but the local village has a butcher, a baker and a small general store. The D-Day beaches are about 40mins away and the gite makes a good base to explore the region. It's one of the best gites we've used and is recommended.

  • Quality gite in a quiet convenient location

The gite had everything we needed and ours included a huge private garden. The gite is in a convenient location just south of Bayeux and close to the N13 road which gives quick access to all of the Normandy landing beaches. We enjoyed our stay there.
