A fantastic family villa in stunning surroundings

                                  5 of 5
My husband and I were quite dubious about going away with our 2 year old toddler and 7 month old baby but Gary and Karen could not have prepared the villa better for us. Having sent a number of emails to a very patient Gary ahead of our holiday asking numerous questions about what was on site for my two little boys, we couldnt have been happier with what awaited for us when we arrived tired and hungry after a day of traveling. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials we needed. There were two travel cots set up complete with mattresses and sheets. Our baby had a bouncy chair and walker waiting for him and there was enough swimming inflatables and safety devices to keep both boys splashing in the pool for hours on end. My husband was delighted that there was Sky TV and very good WiFi and I was excited to see a number of sun loungers and comfy garden furniture for the odd hour I got to actually sunbathe. Karen was super fast coming back to us during our stay fixing any issues or answering any questions on the villa and area that we had. Pont Royal is a lovely resort with plenty to do. Our eldest son loved going to the petting farm each morning and running around the square whilst we had coffee in one of the many cafes on site. Just be aware that if you are staying with small children the pool isnt fenced off so you need to be extra vigilant but that was our choice. A huge thank you to Gary and Karen for helping make our first family holiday abroad stress free.

                                  Simply great

Totally great place to stay for two. Well appointed accommodation - though the stairs to the mezzanine are a bit steep. Good bed (not a given!). We hardly used the indoor area - save for making some meals - eating outdoors in total peace. The impressive garden and pool provided shade and relaxation as required. Very helpful and pleasant owners - who stayed up late to welcome us - providing a few essentials to get us over the journey -- they were generally always around but were never interfering or overbearing.- just lovely people. The local village has a decent restaurant within walking distance. Difficult to recommend this too highly - of course the weather helped - but if you want a place to take it easy this would fit the bill.

                                  The Perfect French Holiday

                                  5 of 5
Our group of 10 (6 adults & 4 teenagers) usually take a beach and pool holiday in the Algarve or Spain but this year we decided we'd like some French culture, food and wine. Quality communication from Catherine helped us decide it was the summer holiday venue for 2015. An easy drive from Marseille airport and we were shown around the property, we were all very impressed with the accommodation. Every room has been thoughtfully styled with traditional French furniture alongside a great mix of contemporary assets. One area of Le Mas that doesn't show up clearly in the websites is the Le Grand Auvent. This is an amazing addition to the original property. With a traditional tiled roof housing the BBQ, sink, table and chairs, we all ate our lunch and most of our evening meals in this cool area. The swimming pool was a big hit with the all the family and a chance to top up the tan and cool down in the water. Day trips included Cassis, Aix en Provence, Arles and Les Baux. We had a fantastic two weeks and thank you to Catherine and all your team especially the French husband & wife team who looked after the house, garden and pool. We were all very impressed and highly recommend this as a family holiday destination.
