I booked this property many months ahead of the actual visit to Saint Quentin which was a central city for us to visit the WW1 battle fields and to lay a wreath for a relative who died in the Great war. Initially my booking was for 4 persons, but then changed to 6 persons two weeks prior to the visit when other family members wanted to come too. Pascale said it was no problem to amend. Then finally on the day of arrival it changed again to 7 persons but again Pascale made every attempt to accommodate us all, she is great :-) The house has large rooms, a superb well equipped kitchen, peaceful lounge and comfy sofa's with lots of seating, huge dining table and we loved the decor, the outside garden is large and secure should you want to bring a dog. There is only one toilet in the house which is downstairs, so if you frequently go to the toilet in the night and you are fragile you will have to use the stairs however there is a lovely downstairs double bedroom and a single bedroom if this is a problem for one couple and extra. Being centrally located, unfortunately parking can be a problem which is situated directly on the street. Most evenings when we returned by car the street was full of cars and I had to park a little distance away (I have an estate). The property does have a garage leading onto the street which is kept clear by residents, fine if you have a small car to park in front but the residents don't leave much space which is to be expected. Thanks to Pascale who was very kind and accomodating for our needs and we recommend this property taking into account my comments.
