  • Quaint rural moat house in a historic setting with great hosts
    5 of 5

We had a very comfortable stay for a week in Brondineuf hosted by Indea and Neil who were simply wonderful people. The moat house is a recent renovation with everything you need. Two bedrooms and bathrooms, lovely lounge and equipped kitchen and a private backyard with hot tub. The local village of Broons is a two minute drive with good supermarkets and shops and you are close to all of Brittany’s beaches, towns and tourist attractions. Our hosts were so helpful and we loved the setting. The grounds have a lot of historical significance and the setting is unique. Would highly recommend. Thanks so much for being such great hosts X

  • Tastefully decorated, homely and charming country idyll
    5 of 5

We had a lovely stay at this charming country cottage near Mérillac. The owners have exquisite taste with so many beautiful artefacts and brocante treasures and yet it’s so homely and comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped, my husband loves to cook so this was great! our only criticism would be there are no curtains or blinds in the bedrooms so we were awake rather early! We know the area around Dinan and St Malo really well and it was great to revisit old haunts, it’s such a beautiful coastline: our favourite coastal spot is St Briac sur Mer which is just an hour from the cottage with wonderful foody shops and a great creperie called L’Hermine. Other towns we love to visit are Dinard, Cancale, Jugon les Lacs and Saint Souilliac but a walk round the sleepy rural lanes of Digouet was just as lovely!
