A large farmhouse in a lovely rural location. Convenient for many of the historical sites .

We chose this location as we wished to visit the D Day beaches and museums and to visit Bayeux and the tapestry. The property gave us a convenient and homely base to explore the region. Our experience was further enhanced by Dennis the owner who's historical knowledge of the area and WW2 helped us to make the most of our visit. We travelled with a friend form the USA who particularly wanted to visit Omaha beach and St Marie Eglise. Overall a very enjoyable visit.

A PEACEFUL RETREAT

4 of 5
We had an excellent stay at this property and Noreen was there should any problem arise which was great. Mixed weather but we managed to barbecue 2 nights out of 6 which we enjoyed as we do at home. We would have liked opening windows in the bedroom as we did not want to leave the french doors open on an evening. Very comfortable with everything you need.Unfortunately the local boulangerie and charcuterie were closed for annual holidays but the cocci market came up trumps and we also bought some great wine from there. They even ordered some in specially for us to take home.An excellent week, thanks Noreen
