Highly recommended. We had a lovely stay and hope to return one day. The setting is beautiful with vines at the end of the road. The yurt is very comfortable and with a kitchen and bathroom has everything you need. Breakfast is really good with homemade cakes and jams. Tours is only a short drive away, we went ther for dinner and walked along the banks of the Loir. Thanks again, a lovely, peaceful and friendly place to stay.

  • A time capsule of a place in a quiet and picturesque village.

Every morning, the rising sun lit up the golden stone of the village below; every evening, the coolness of the cave was a refuge from the heat of the day. We felt as if we were inside history; we could see 200-year old graffiti and marks made by the cave-makers, but were entirely comfortable and well-provided for. Anita and René were welcoming and helpful; it was fascinating to hear them describe how they had modernised this unique place while preserving its historic features. We had everything we needed to be comfortable inside, but enjoyed most of all watching the changing light over the village and countryside below.
