  • A lovely, well resourced cottage in a v quiet rural location, with beautiful villages close by
    5 of 5

The cottage is v well located, standing on its own in a generous plot, with views over countryside for miles around. Internally, it is very comfortable. Downstairs is open plan, with a v good kitchen area and with all the appliances you will need. Beds and bedrooms are also v comfortable and the showers for both rooms are v good. Although there is wi-fi, because of the rural location, it is not that great, although Britta did all she could to make it work for us. Also, the patio is in need of a new parasol as it is a real sun trap and too hot to sit there without one. Britta did not know the original one was broken and is replacing it. There are many beautiful villages around about to visit and Loches is only 15 minutes away. There is a large Super U there but the town itself is very interesting, with an historic centre that includes a Dongon and Chateau. Alos, Tours, Amboise and the Loire valley are less than an hour away. In summary, we enjoyed a wonderful two weeks and would certainly highly recommend the property.

The owners are lovely people, we had a very welcome bedding and towels change during our two weeks stay which gave that hotel feel. The beds are comfortable and bedrooms lovely and a well equipped kitchen(although no scissors or tin opener). its a beautiful place. You must be aware that the pool is a shared pool with the owners family if you nip to the shops you may find them in there when you get back and you are not able to be around the pool after 8pm for cleaning but our experience is they clean in the mornings, as we went here purely for the pools privacy it was a bit disappointing, but not the end of the world the owners being very accommodating made up for it ......she even made us a cake which was lovely. Go you will like it.
