A Great Spot for a Rural Getaway.

5 of 5
When we arrived, we were greeted not only by the incredible beauty of the area, but by the extremely friendly and helpful owners Gerard and Elise (who live very nearby). They made our stay exceptionally comfortable and easy and have created a really great place to escape the rest of the world. The villa is exceptionally clean and well-appointed and the pool is a good size for all ages and abilities. It is also a great place to go at any time of the day or night. Inside the villa there are some great communal spaces to while away the evenings/lazy afternoons, and each one of the bedrooms was clean and very comfortable, with a great number of bathrooms. The surrounding area is a great for excursions, with a trip to Renne-le-Chateau highly recommended. There are also a large number of local caves and vineyards with nearby Limoux producing some exceptional sparkling wines. Highly recommended for a family who want to get away from it all.

Very quiet beautiful location and lovely hosts

4 of 5
Small and economical gite for 2 adults in a lovely location ideal for exploring this beautiful region. Stairs a little difficult for people with mobility problems. Wonderful views from the ample garden and swimming pool. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and welcoming - and the aquagym classes were great fun! Nearest shops 15 min drive. Super quiet, calm and peaceful - it’s rare to hear a car- but instead lots of wild birds and local walks. We’d love to come back thank you Annie and Didier!
