Well-maintained property in peaceful location with perfect layout for chilled holiday living

5 of 5
Modern and well-equipped house in quiet area just above village. Terrace just off kitchen was ideal for every meal and was the focus of our socialising. The air-conditioning was appreciated and our teenagers were thrilled with the good Wi-Fi! There is potential to sit in sun or shade at any time of the day, listening to the cicadas and enjoying the warmth. The gas BBQ was a bonus and the pool was most welcome on hot afternoons (or anytime of day for my daughter!) This is a lovely part of France, unspoilt by tourism. We loved cycling along quiet roads lined by vineyards and certainly took the opportunity to taste many excellent reds and rosés. There is culture for those who want it - Avignon was magnificent, and many local markets for produce. For teenagers the High ropes/Sky Parks are a must. One at Bollene and the best at Mormoiron. The owners were very welcoming and helpful, dropping in a hairdryer and coffee maker for our use. We would certainly return to this property again.
