We had a lovely relaxing stay at Les Chenes. The cottage is homely, warm and very well equipped . Melaney and John are very welcoming and it's good to wake up to the peace and quiet of the country and be greeted by the chickens!

Fantastic!!!

This is a wonderful house, the photos do not do it justice, it is much bigger! Trish and her husband made us very welcome and they took our son to heart, even giving him a present of a DVD! The surrounding area is beautiful and we loved the walk along the canal. The house is set in a very peaceful location - just what we needed, but there are, of course, loads of things to do in the surrounding area. We were lucky enough to visit the photography exhibition at La Gacilly it was absolutely stunning and free to visitors also worth a visit is the dinosaur park, it is a static exhibition set in an old quarry but well worth a look. We had added thunder for dramatic effect!. The weather was amazing and we particularly enjoyed sitting under the fig tree in the garden in the late afternoon drinking a glass of wine or two. We hope that Trish and her husband will allow us to go back one year as it is a place that will live long in the memory. Thank you to you both. Dawn, Giles and Gregory
