Fantastic location

5 of 5
This cottage was situated so well - both from the point of view of having a wonderful view out over the river Aude at Quillan as well as the main square, but also because it was about halfway in between the major Cathar castles, and so was great for travelling around (journeys can take quite a long time because of all the hills). Although described as 'quirky', the cottage was quirky in a nice way, and there was a nice amount of room.

Very quite place. For somebody advantage, for somebody disadvantage.

Very nice, quite place, far from any rush. Nice house with all necessary inside. Village is located in the center of interesting location. But it is necessary to take in acount, that it is really mountain village, which means connected with surounding world by very narrow and zigzagging roads. Any journey takes much more time than usual. But it's a holiday.I think today is not easy to find such a forgotten place.
